The staff at the hotel and restaurant are superb. Food amazing and would return tomorrow.

Thom and the whole team made us feel very welcome and special as we were celebrating our second wedding anniversary. He took time explaining how to menu was curated and the kitchen team that was part of it. We had the wine flight alongside the blind tasting menu and had a lot of fun guessing the core ingredients. The food was amazing, with bread to start followed by 5 courses and generous wine pairings. We would absolutely recommend and can't wait for another excuse to head to a Friday night of the blind tasting menu.

Excellent food, very relaxed atmosphere on a busy Zoo day. Attentive staff and a wide choice of spirits at the bar. Spotless toilet facilities. A very enjoyable experience to celebrate a landmark birthday.

Brasserie setting is lovely and well appointed. Sadly it was very quiet on the night we dined and, hence, partly closed and lacking a bit of atmosphere. Food was good though, as were drinks and service was excellent.

We had the Mother’s Day Sunday lunch. We were sat in a room with one other couple but were asked if we wanted to sit in the bar but we were happy chatting on our own. The meal we had was lamb which was cooked perfectly, boiled beetroot and parsnips with a red wine ju. Ot was a lovely meal but It would have been nice to have had some greens and carrots. Waiting staff were very attentive.
