Best Restaurants for Afternoon Coffee in Wellingborough

We often drive past and say we must give it a try and when our visit to Royal Ascot was cancelled it was ideal opportunity to do so. Staff were welcoming and showed us to our table. We shared our starter of bread and olives with mini choriza which was perfect for us. Our main courses were well presented and ample portions of quality food. We thoroughly enjoyed our first experience of The Red Lion and will definitely be visiting again.

We have eaten at Parker’s Tavern many times for both lunch and dinner. We have also had breakfast when staying at the University Arms. It is one of our favourite restaurants in Cambridge. The menu caters for all tastes and the food is sourced locally. I would particularly like to say that on this latest visit for lunch the service was outstanding. Thank you.

We had such a lovely afternoon there for Sunday lunch! All the staff are so friendly and welcoming, there were very accommodating too! Pretty much everything on the menu could be made gluten free which is amazing and it all tastes amazing! the food is fantastic here
