Best Restaurants for Afternoon Coffee in Thorne

A lovely experience. Staff very friendly, informative and knowledgeable about how our experience would unfold. The room was well set out, table well presented with spotless table linen and cutlery. The food was well presented and tasted lovely with a great variety of both sweet and savoury items.

Classic French dishes, cooked so well! The best boulangere potatoes I've ever had. Excellent friendly service and some interesting wines.

Had afternoon tea at Bettys. Service/Staff were superb and were so helpful and friendly. Choice of drinks and food was great and if you feel like you want more just ask. If you book for the imperial room you just bypass the queues. Lovely touch having a pianist playing in the background. Love it. Thank you Karen for looking after us.

While most courteous, the service was extremely slow. It was several minutes before we were acknowledged; it made me feel ignored The tea was great, and the alcoholic options were fantastic. And the chocolate dessert was out of this world. Frankly, it is quite pricey compared to better experiences

I met with friends for Christmas and we had a lovely time. The staff were very friendly as they always are and I will definitely be back in the new year. Thank you so much for your hospitality x
