Best Restaurants for Afternoon Coffee in Bury Green

First time having afternoon tea and it was such a pleasant experience. The decor at Roast is absolutely beautiful, staff were lovely and attentive and kept the prosecco flowing! Most importantly the food was so good, I’m still thinking about it days later. It’s rare finding pretty restaurants with great hospitality and food these days but Roast left an amazing impression on me I will be back!

What struck me on entering the Lanesborough was the sheer elegance of the decor. The staff immediately greeted my friends and I and we were shown to the beautiful room where tea was served. It was like being transported back in time with the tall glass ceiling which made everything so light.The pastel blue walls and carpet are stunningly beautiful and as we were shown to our seats the staff were attentive and friendly. It was a hot day but the temperature was just right inside and we could hear the sounds of a harp being played. The Bridgerton tea itself was delightful and we were able to sit and chat for as long as we wanted, there was no hurrying us off our table. In particular we loved the cream cheese and smoked salmon sandwiches which had dill and horseradish giving them a wonderful flavour. The warm scones were served with both jam and a delicious lemon curd and we tried several different teas. The whole experience was wonderful and I would totally recommend this afternoon tea to anyone.

Lovely atmosphere that is super fun and really enjoyable to children and adults. Food is tasty and spot on for the theme. Relaxed enough for small children (& adults) to behave like children 😊

Our afternoon tea was absolutely delightful. The staff was gracious and informative; the food was delicious and plentiful; the Atrium was astounding.The soft piano music was a perfect complement to the experience.
