We had an enjoyable dinner. Apps and entrees were all very good.

Karen ordered scallops only to have the server return after a few minutes to say that they weren't available. There ensued some confused conversation because Karen thought they said salad. It was difficult to hear over the rap music playing. IMO the server should have known that the scallops were unavailable before they start taking orders. Also the decor and atmosphere didn't fit with the rap music.

As always, J. Gilberts never disappoints. Another great meal and this time from their new menu! Excellent food, excellent service, and excellent atmosphere.

As it always is, Tosca was outstanding Saturday night. The menu is amazing and the food was spectacular. The service was also phenomenal. We were a party of four, and we had oysters, shaved Brussel Sprouts Caesar Salad to start - both amazing. We ordered the flounder special, Bolognese and Scampi. the pasta was cooked perfectly and arrived piping hot. For dessert we shared a flight of gelato on mini-cones. I just can't say enough about the overall quality of this restaurant, which I have been coming to for many years. Amazingly, it only gets better and better each time. I really feel it is one of the premier restaurants in Northern CT or Western Mass.

Don't worry about the reviews that say they can't connect to Open Table. The problem has been all sorted out. The restaurant is a really nice place to eat dinner. From the lake views to the delicious food, we had a great time. The live music was really good if not a little loud. Our server was attentive and understanding. The gluten free options aren't marked on the menu but our server checked in with the kitchen and my food was accommodated to my allergy. Check this place out!
