What a brilliant meal. Our plumber recommended The Elms, so we thought we’d give it a go for the wife’s birthday. I was taking a risk, but it absolutely paid off.The food was fantastic and the service was spot‑on — friendly, helpful and never intrusive. We didn’t realise it was Steak Night, and the waitress letting us know about the free bottle of wine was a lovely touch.The steaks were perfect: great char, juicy inside, and full of flavour. Great food, great value, great night.

We had a lovely lunch at the Littleton, Jemma was our server and was very friendly and knowledgeable. We had the Big Drip burger, without the fried egg and it was huge. The cheese fondue was lovely but made the bottom of the burger bun soggy and even more difficult to eat. The Motherclucka burger was delicious also , as were the salt and pepper fries and the onion rings.

Again the Lesters Arms provided an excellent lunchtime meal for our friends first visit to the venue. They say it won’t be their last! The food was delicious and served with out delays. The lunchtime atmosphere was friendly and professional.
