Sokrates Greek Taverna on Winter Hey Lane in Horwich is a relaxed, friendly restaurant serving dishes from Greece, Cyprus and Eastern Mediterranean. Was a proper greek meal not rushed at all , could have done with fan on as when full was a bit warm , greek music could have been a little louder as was very faint to the ear , overall very good food and service .

Delicious food. This was my second visit and would definitely return. I ordered Katsu chicken, it was delicious. Others in my party ordered chicken noodles, salmon and duck. They all said the food was lovely and would order again.
