Best Sunday Lunch Restaurants in Woolwich

Had a lovely evening, food was great and much better than on previous occasions. Service was also friendly. The reason for the 2 star service is that the food came far too quickly. This had happened previously and I specifically asked for it to be paced at the beginning but this didn’t happen, so that the hot food went cold by the time we could eat it and we ended up feeling very full having finished the whole feasting menu within an hour of arrival. This was a shame because otherwise it was great and we appreciated the free “congratulations” dessert.

I have visited The Ivy on several occasions, and this time I opted for their set menu, which offered exceptional value. The aubergine salad was particularly delicious. I will certainly be returning before the end of summer.

Excellent food and value for money. Some of the waiters could acknowledge female customers while speaking to male customers.
