We dined at, The Appleyard, in Sidcup, for the first time, and it was a very enjoyable experience. We shared an appetiser which was the Berenjena Fritas, which is fried Aubergine, Goats Cheese and honey served in a similar form to Arancini. Mains were all of substantial portions. One of my guests had a Sirloin Steak, which was cooked to his personal choice, perfectly. The food was served hot too, but not on heated crockery. The waiting service was attentive, but not rushed or over zealous. Adequate time was provided until we were ready to order. The wine was nicely chilled and served on time too. We arrived on a Friday evening at, 19:30pm, and the restaurant was quiet. By 20:30pm, it was very busy, and the evening continued with a steady stream of diners. The restaurant is tastefully decorated with an unusual array of different wines and ports on display for sale, in the entrance, by the bottle, which was a very thoughtful and inventive feature. I shall definitely be returning in the near future and highly recommend a visit. Thank you for your attentive floor service and excellent fayre.

Just had a wonderful anniversary lunch at Chapter One today! The food was amazing, and the atmosphere was perfect for our special day. The staff was super friendly and made everything feel extra special. We’ll definitely be back in a few months! Highly recommend!

Extremely tasty Korean chicken burger and asian slaw with skin on fries. Nice selection of drinks including cocktails. Really friendly pub and very accomodating when we had to change our booking time slightly. Great decor and nice outside area. Would recommend
