Brilliant roast, one of the best I've ever had out. Generous and thoughtfully plated. Fresh and beautifully cooked and seasoned. Ambience was great when we got there. An extremely loud table were seated near us before our food came out and we couldn't hear each other until they got their food. With hindsight I could have politely asked a staff member to have a quiet word, but I'm far too polite I guess. I would have hoped maybe someone may have asked them to tone it down. I could see many other diners glancing across at the din. Food took quite a while to come out, but we were fine - if the kids were younger that may have been a bit of an issue, so bear that in mind if you have little ones who get hungry. Needed to ask for the gravy that we had been told was coming, but aside from that everyone happy and pleasant and helpful. Food was spectacular, drinks were lovely, will 100% go again.

Absolutely love this place! My mum and I went for Sunday roast, both had the lamb, I can honestly say hand on heart THE best roast we've had to date. Love the staff, lovely welcome and recognised us, even though we've only been there twice and that was some months ago. Highly recommend this lovely old little pub....even the toilet was lovely and spotless with a lush smelling cream wash soap and hand lotion for after.

Wow, what a fabulous inn and restaurant. A fish lovers paradise, fantastic plates had by all. Whole Sea Bass, Lobster, Steak and warm vegetarian salad and more. Staff polite, attentive with nothing too much trouble. Massive beer garden, open space for kids, covered outside area also. Went above and beyond to meet our vegetarian needs.

Very pleased with all - we found it a very good experience and could have overstayed our welcome!
