- AArthurWashington, D.C. Area •12 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoSuperb dining experience with excellent input from the wait staff. Dined at lunch on a Federal holiday so the number of customers was unusually small -- on the other hand, it was quiet and made for easy conversation. The soup (French onion) and sandwich combo was a real bargain. This was my fourth time, including both lunch and dinner. so Josephine is clearly a favorite desintation.More infoJosephine - Old TownPrice: Expensive• French• Alexandria•4.7
- GGregWashington, D.C. Area •14 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoThis was a good Valentine’s Day pick. The food was good, the noise level was easy to have a conversation, and the service was outstanding. The entrees were priced well but the starters and wines seemed a little pricey. I would definitely recommend this low-key restaurant in the heart of bustling Clarendon.More infoMazaro Italian RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Italian• Arlington•4.5

- MMargaretWashington, D.C. Area •2 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoOur food was delicious, fresh, generous portions. We had roasted half chicken and avocado toast. We both asked for substitutions/add-ons which were accommodated. I was offered an alternative add-on because the one I initially requested was seasonal. Drinks and desserts were also good regarding taste and serving size. Our waiter was very pleasant and regularly checked on us without being intrusive. The manager also stopped by our table and other customers to check that everything was ok. It’s a diner, so noise levels are what one might expect, but we could easily converse without raising our voices. It has a retro diner vibe with posters/photos/vinyl of iconic performers at Carnegie Hall (original diner in New York is near the concert hall). It’s becoming a favorite neighborhood spot so it’s always busy and the one negative is that parking in this popular local shopping center is relatively limited so it can be hard to find a space during peak hours.More infoCarnegie Diner & Café – 501 Maple Ave W, Vienna, VAPrice: Moderate• American• Vienna•4.2
- MMaureenVIPWashington, D.C. Area •3 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoI have enjoyed numerous meals at RT’s and they are consistently of high-quality. RT’s has superior service, a wonderful ambience, soft music in the background so you don’t have to raise your voice and exhaust yourself speaking. The restaurant is always festively decorated for every season/holiday of the year. It’s clear that the managers/owners take extraordinary pride in and care of their restaurant. Last but not least, the food is exceptionally delicious and well-presented every time! And while you might just drive past this wonderful restaurant on Mount Vernon Ave. in Alexandria, without noticing, it is truly a gem. It deserves a few Michelin stars.More infoRT's RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Creole / Cajun / Southern• Alexandria•4.7
