Best Restaurants for Quiet Conversation in Murray Hill

Great experience overall. Service was exceptional! Food was good. Enjoyed the atmosphere in this iconic restaurant.

The meal and service is why Rossini's has survived for decades...The meal was delicious (one of the best veal chops I had in a long time)...The drinks were generous...And the service staff left us alone and yet were quietly attentive and that lead to a relaxing and enjoyable experience.

This was our first time in the renature-ant although we ordered delivery many times and have been very happy. This time at the sushi bar we tried the highest level Omakase in celebration of Chef Oyama's birthday month. Chef Oyama was phenomenal and his omakase was much better than many which are much more expensive in other restaurants. We had an extremely pleasant time and every bite was super delicious. The side dishes and amuse bouche were also fantastic. Highly recommend Ryusei. Their take out/delivery orders are delicious as well, but Omakase really spoke for itself. Our best Japanese meal is a while. Maitre d'it Haruki-san and our waiter Kenichi gave outstanding service. We will be back.

A visit to Pera on Madison Avenue never disappoints. First of all - there is absolute consistency here - in the food and service. And the prices are moderate - not crazy like so many mid town restaurants. Service - top notch. I often choose the Garden Salad with Chicken Brochette or a lamb dish. Either/or - the meat is tasty and tender. Great job Team Pera!
