Best Restaurants for Quiet Conversation in Austin

We sat at the bar for our anniversary, and everything about the evening was exceptional. The ambiance and music created the perfect atmosphere for a special night. The food was absolutely amazing, and the service was spot on from start to finish. Highly recommend!

The ambiance is fantastic. The old world touches made it feel like you were in some old San Francisco historic building. We sat at the bar because that is all that was left, but I feel like if a restaurant is going to offer bar seating for your meals, they should have more comfortable stools with backs. They currently have just a round, wooden and small seat with no back. Our service provider was behind the bar and very friendly and attentive. The menu is small, but has some great dishes listed. We had the cesar salad with crab cake and the spaghettini with lobster. Both were great. We also got a side of the zucchini, which we did not enjoy, and the Japanese bread rolls, which were good. We opted for cocktails, which were good, but also wanted to check out the other bar at the back. We thought those drinks were great too! Also, the complementary valet is a must. There are really no other options for parking.

This place is such a gem! From the awesome service to music to the ambiance. The drinks were delicious too. They require you to leave your phones at the front, so forces you to unplug. Highly recommend!

Had the cowboy steak and it was delicious! Everything was very nice.
