A typical food love story. A boy meets a girl while eating pizza. He attends culinary school and open’s a pizza restaurant named after the girl. Thus bringing us to Emily! The Manhattan iteration of the Brooklyn based pizzeria centered around a historic brick oven and comforting food. Emily has earned a following for its signature Detroit-style pies and award winning burger. The pizza here is rectangular (not round) and utilizes the "frico" technique, in which cheese is drizzled on the edges of the pie to create a crispy brown exterior. Beyond the main event, the menu extends to include salads and sandwiches, which shouldn't be ignored (think an attention-grabbing burger and a top-notch spicy fried chicken sandwich). Please note, there will be a time limit of 1 hour 30 minutes for guests so we can fairly utilize our limited capacity. Our outdoor dining is enclosed with heaters that will keep you toasty! Had a romantic dinner with my husband for Father’s Day. Food was fresh and delicious. Drinks were yummy, had an Italian margarita. Staff and service was remarkable. A must go again.

Our waitress was wonderful but busy. The food options had a good variety. Adult and children's options. The food did take a long time to come out. Fries were cold but they did reheat them when asked. The drink was supposed to be made at the table to see Smoked technique but that didn't happen. It was still a nice experience.

Celebrated my daughter’s 5th grade graduation with her grandparents, from the staff to the food this was an overall amazing dining experience! The eggplant meatballs were out of this world, the pene vodka, also equally amazing! I highly recommend! Can’t wait to dine here again.
