Always amazing Food great Service great I love to go to this place

Outstanding restaurant - from food to service to value. While DanDan has been around for nearly a decade, I have overlooked how inspiring Chinese-American cooking in Milwaukee could be. Loved the shareable aspect of this place. Started our dinner when our server brought out the delicious mungbean kimchee pancake and short rib / foie gras potstickers. Loved them both. DanDan noodles were wonderful with their peanut-forward flavor. Enjoyed the rice cakes and pork belly with more spicy kimchee. Shared the Mongolian beef with its deliciously stir-fried bell peppers. DanDan has a wonderful cocktail menu and mango crème brûlée. Only wished we lived nearby to have this as our goto carry out place for Chinese-American food.

I've been to Avli a few times in warmer weather but today's brunch was absolutely fabulous! Food was exceptional in terms of presentation, quality, value and uniqueness. Service by multiple people was attentive and helpful. Cocktails are memorable. Can't wait to come back and sit on the patio. Great time.

Absolutely fantastic food. The meatballs, honey toast, potatoes, and paella were all ridiculously delicious. 10/10 would recommend. Great, attentive service as well.

Total experience was first-time great! We had a reservation and were succinctly offered a lovely table for our party of 4 that felt intimate and close, while still in the middle of an active scene. We were celebrating the night before our wedding with friends that couldn’t make it the next day, so we wanted a very casual, cozy evening and they delivered! Cocktails were up first and just right. We got the fries on a whim and are still talking about them in the group chat two days later. Pizza menu is super exciting and it’ll obviously take us several visits to even comment on what’s the best. Our party had some dietary needs and they were handily catered to. The service was so, so great! So many different people tended to us, and never short on anything we needed. We’ll come back again and again just for the beaming personalities and attention to detail. And an easy hop-in after work in its location!
