Dear Valued Customers, The Ambassador Training Restaurant is a TAFE NSW-licensed venue. Demonstrating our reputation as a leader in education and training for hospitality and culinary students, the students practice delivering fine dining food & develop their skills within an operational environment. As we are a licenced venue, BYO is not permitted. All dietary requirements must be advised in advance through your OpenTable platform booking. Meals will be served alternate drop, meaning you will not have a choice from the menu and will have limited facility for alterations. Payments will be made after your meal; we do not accept cash or split bills.We only take reservations via OpenTable. Rengaya has been serving YAKINIKU in North Sydney since 1993, making it one of Australia’s pioneering Japanese barbeque restaurants. Now, that tradition is set to continue at its new digs on Miller Street – just a short stroll from the original location – in a much more modern, striking setting. The new fit-out features bar-counter seats around an open kitchen, red booth seating divided by Japanese-style timber panelling and a hard-to-miss chandelier. There’s also a 20-seat private dining room. We use only the finest ingredients such as Japanese Black Cattle made in Australia for beef, Sashimi and Seafood fresh from the sea. The food is exceptional and the service excellent! There are so many staff members it’s always easy to get attention. My only feedback would be the wine and drinks could have been served with dessert and also poured for us more regularly.The bisteck was outstanding and all the food really delicious! We had a fantastic birthday celebration for my husband today!

Besides the fact that we had wonderful food courtesy of Neil Perry - from the sashimi albacore to the XO prawns, the prawn, pork and scallops sausages to the excellent rib-eye - we had the best service as well as great desserts. Excellent wine and cocktail recommendations as well!

We were first timers to the area. What a lovely place to dine. Staff were friendly, Meals were quick to come out. Proportions were huge & also priced reasonably. We joined the Club for a members discount. The kids loved looking at all the train station memorabilia which gave a station vibe.
