State of Grace is a coastal, South Texas neighborhood restaurant in the refurbished Lamar-River Oaks Shopping Center. Elegant but casual, its elevated comfort food by executive chef Bobby Matos is executed at the highest level in a welcoming, beautiful space. El restaurante Grace's surgió de la visión del propietario Johnny Carraba, como un homenaje a los buenos recuerdos que tenía de su querida abuela Grace Mandola. Grace, quiene era conocida en la familia como Mama, era una mujer Siciliana nacida en Louisiana de padres inmigrantes. Ella tenía un gran don para la cocina y la hospitalidad, así como una profunda fe.
