- CCarterPortland / Oregon •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoOur server, (forgot his name, but a tall and polite gentleman), took great care of us and brought us a free dessert and savory dish, as we were celebrating my girlfriend’s birthday and our five year anniversary. Something I enjoyed about him too, is he was informative, guided us through how the menu works, but was not overbearing in his delivery or presence at the table. I’ve been to so many places where you can tell the server is being a bit performative and will drown you in details instead of reading the room and giving people time to process lol. What really stood out as well, was the fact that every staff member we interacted with, (the host, server, and THREE other employees on the floor), all knew we were celebrating and made a point to congratulate us. You could tell they pay attention to special details here. My partner and I are both in the service industry (fine dining), so we notice the small stuff and had no complaints! Even our water glasses never dropped below 3/4ths full. Also worth noting — the value you get for the delicious food, great ambience, and service is WELL worth the price. A wonderful dining experience without breaking the bank. Would highly recommend this place 👍🏻More infoNokoPrice: Expensive• Asian• East Nashville•4.9
- NNitaVIPNashville •39 reviews4.0Dined 2 days agoFood and drinks and service were great! They offer a nice wine and cocktail program as well. Portions are not large because dishes are for sharing -- Italian tapas. There were 4 in our party (one of us is gluten intolerant but not an issue as there are several GF items and most pasta dishes can be made GF)) and we shared 7 dishes which was the perfect amount of food. We even shared the Buddino dessert at the end of our meal. It was sublime. Oh, we also had the coconut sorbet which was divine with the Buddino -- nice combo! Highly recommend Pelato.More infoPelatoPrice: Expensive• Italian• Germantown•4.7

This scene is very popular in Denver, CO area too. TCS stacks up well against Michelin ⭐️ restaurants we have visited. Mad kudos! Well done, TCS! PS We also enjoy a simple big juicy hamburger too but we’re “foodies” at heart! 😋More infoThe Catbird SeatPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• Music Row•4.8

I was nervous about the dress code because I didn’t have a formal gown but there was no need to stress, just want folks to dress the part for a high end night at. I was also worried the food wouldn’t be good because some of the reviews were kind of nasty but I had a filet with mushrooms and the mashed potatoes - the meal was INCREDIBLE. The service was amazing. The magic was so so so good. I just had the nicest time even as a solo diner.More infoHouse of CardsPrice: Expensive• American• Downtown / Sobro•4.7
- KKimSan Francisco Bay Area •7 reviews5.0Dined on Feb 3, 2025Forgot how great this place is! Cauliflower appetizer was delish, etch salad split was perfect, Hubby had venison and raved about it. Catch of the day was Salmon … it was salmon … but I would have preferred a “green” accompaniment instead of sweet potato beignet - but that’s a personal preference! Meringue desert was unique and just the perfect finish to our meal! LOVED that we could bring a favorite bottle of wine in for a $30 corkage fee- it was our Anniversary so we wanted to celebrate with it! We were headed to Nashville Symphony after dinner for a show, big plus is free valet and we could get car after show! Already planning a return visit. As locals who tend to avoid downtown restaurants these days - this was a Hit! No wonder it’s been around so long! Staff was great tooMore infoetch - NashvillePrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Downtown / Sobro•4.8
