Montrachet at Bowen Hills, is located on King Street. Large windows enclose a lavishly furnished space, creatingintimacy for a world of luxury inside; white tablecloths, silver cutlery, rich timbers and a well-stocked bar and cellar are all redolent of a charming Parisian brasserie and perceptive waitstaff are attentive in fulfilling culinary desires.Stepping into Montrachet is like stepping into a Parisian bistro. From the burgundy leather banquet that runs the length of the room, to the marble comptoir (bar), Montrachet oozes elegance and charm. Traditional overtones and design are accompanied by Laguiole cutlery, monogrammed crockery and the finest glassware. French antiques, metal pastis signs and gilt framed mirrors create an ambience perfectly complimentary to the French cuisine of executive chef and owner Clement Chauvin is famous for.

FICK Brewing Company is a local neighbourhood brewery with an indoor bar and a covered outdoor beer garden. The owners are Luxembourgish and Australian so the food is representative of that with the European-style street food such as hand-cut, double-cooked chips with Dutch Mayo, Tarte Flambees (French-style pizzas), Belgian Mussels and chips (Moules Frites), Currywurst (chopped Bratwurst with curry ketchup on chips), Farinata (North Italian chickpea pancake), as well as Wagyu beef burgers. The beer styles mainly hail from Belgium, but a solid Red IPA is on offer as well as a range of other locally produced spirits from all over Australia (including Lark, Hartshorn, and Never Never).All wines are from Hentley Farms in the Barossa Valley.

Bienvenue. Les Bubbles is a Parisian steakhouse on the corner of Wickham and Little Street in Fortitude Valley, forged in the very same building that housed the notorious illegal casino, bath-house and brothel at the centre of the Fitzgerald Inquiry. While the card decks and kerb servers are all but gone, the building’s colourful history remains pinned to every wall. Steak frites – known by many as the national dish of France – is the centrepiece of our menu. We sear the steak to your liking, before serving it with bread, salad, plenty of sauce and bottomless frites. Les Bubbles welcomes all, and as such, both vegetarian and pescatarian eaters will feel right at home. For any curious individuals, a change of scenery is available by wandering down a single flight of stairs. It’s there that you will find the Bath-House, featuring a full bar, banquet seating and a open-aired deck to enjoy a pre or post dinner cocktail!
