At Hokus Pokus, the botanical ‘remedies’ are distilled, and served on the rocks instead. Although they are not claiming any health benefits, the team at the Alchemy Lab are confident the tinctures can still do wonders for your mood.Hokus Pokus is an ode to the location and heritage behind Kings Cross featuring a fascinating blend of 19th century apothecary and retro-futuristic steampunk engine room. Blacklock a modern version of the Great British chophouse. Set in the heart of an old listed building that once housed the King’s Coachmakers on Bedford Street. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our real charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails that give back and wine on tap in our atmospheric chop mecca. On Sundays we serve a Sunday Roast (almost as good as Mum's). Bookings and Walk-Ins available.
