    This was a return visit, after the December 2025 experience was so good. The friendliness and excellent service was matched by high quality food, and a great environment. Caprese salad and Beef Carpaccio starters, followed byRib-eye, on the bone (Lake District) which was perfectly cooked, and presented sliced, to the table. Super house salad, and an outstanding dessert of tiramisu. Tnak you Macellaio!

    Delicious food in a very cute cosy French bistro setting. My salmon tartar was citric and zesty, whilst my sea bass in a bouillabaisse sauce was rich and unctuous
