Wonderful experience at Sophie’s while visiting Galway. Beautiful view, great food, friendly service. Highly recommend!

I and my friends had a good time and this was all thanks to the three male waiters that attended to us. The Asian receptionist was so friendly as well. The food came on time, they listened attentively and gave us what we needed. I had a 10/ 10. Thank you so much for making my birthday dinner enjoyable ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️. The ambience was so nice. I got perfect birthday pictures. The food was tasty. Every thing was perfect.

Food was delicious, with good choices. we had the black sole for 2 ,cooked perfectly , , the amusee bouche were delightful. Portions were just right, all our food was eaten! All served on pottery, and shell adorned dishes, very nice touch. Definitely return

Very nice gastropub. There are not too many tables so be sure to book in advance. Service staff was attentive and fun, bartender mixes perfectly. Local patrons are not shy striking up a fun conversation that may be as good as the food. The food is top notch for a good price. We had lamb ( maybe as good as lamb I’ve had outside of New Zealand) and grass fed steak with some incredibly little potatoes that were so tender and flavorful yet were not swimming in a ton of butter or salt- so simple but so good. All was perfectly cooked to our order and wonderful flavor. Also had the tomato and tapenade appitizer. The tapenade was incredible with their bread- order one per person you will not be disappointed. Highly recommend this place.

Delicious selection of dishes with so many vegetarian & vegan options (the noodles with seitan & dandan sauce were terrific!) Great service and ambiance, and terrific location with a scenic view of the Spanish Arch. Highly recommend!
