Best Date Night Restaurants in Horfield

A fantastic evening, great service and incredible food. We thoroughly enjoyed celebrating a birthday at the restaurant.

We went to River Grille for their jazz brunch, to celebrate my sister's birthday. The meal began with a delicious cocktail. One of our party doesn't drink alcohol, so our helpful waiter, Jermaine, quickly brought a mocktail menu for her. The 3 course brunch was tasty and well balanced. There are several choices for main, including a few without meat, which suited me. The music was enjoyable, without being overwhelming. A very good experience overall.

Really enjoyed our night there! Food was amazing, service was great and for the food we had, great value. Only thing I would say is that we did put birthday on our booking and normally you’d expect something with a candle even if it’s a plate with writing. It was my partner’s daughter’s birthday. But that’s a minor thing, in the grand scheme of it all. Would highly recommend it and we will go back!

Had an outstanding 2nd anniversary meal for myself and my boyfriend at Piccolinos . The food was delicious and the service was spot on! There was a lovely energetic atmosphere. We would definitely go for food there again! Thank you Piccolinos! :)
