The ever delightful traditional Italian osteria on Northcote Road continues its usual high standards and terrific value set lunch menu. Floor length windows open right up in good weather, making an enjoyable blending of outdoors and indoors—plus a small fully outdoor terrace. Attentive but never intrusive service. And I was allowed to have one of the set lunch dishes that wasn’t on the a la carte menu at a very reasonable price. Can’t fault it at all.

Great experience, my guest was seriously impressed. I asked for a glass of white wine and the waiter brought a taster of an excellent portuguese alvarino, perfect for a lunch. Service was good and the river views are lovely.

The service was brilliant and the food was amazing.

Starter was amazing, roast beef dinner was really flavoursome, pudding let them down. Sticky toffee pudding was hard and needed to get a fork to hold it still so I could slice through it with a spoon. Otherwise overall, a lovely venue, with very pleasant staff. Food was served at a good pace, and plenty of parking at front and rear of venue. Will definitely go again but choose a different pudding. Would have chosen the apple crumble but there was none ready and would have taken a long time to cook apparently.

Excellent service and a few TVs to watch the football but the food wasn't the best value and the drinks were expensive. I'd got back for a drink or two, but not for food.
