Best Comfort Food Restaurants in Cheadle

On a really hot evening, the friendly staff coped so well! Only one small bar for service which led to some delay but they coped so well. Ate inside and food was well cooked - some dishes not available on the night - happened to be the ones we’d chosen but alternatives were fine. Beer garden was accessed down 2 flights of stairs which I found awkward. Drinks and food for 2 at £54 was good value.

It was our first visit to BAB and it won't be our last. We both ordered a flatbread each, the harissa lamb and the peri chicken both were delicious, we also shared a portion of salt & pepper fries. We just about managed to eat everything as the portion size was quite substantial but because the food was so tasty, there was no way we were leaving anything. May try one of their burgers the next time or possibly the small plates.

Food and venue were very good. What made our visit memorable was the excellent service provided by the waitress, best I’ve experienced for some time.
