Best Restaurants for Birthdays in Fair Oaks

My family of 4 (two kids 14 and 12) and 3 good friends ate at Texas de Brazil in Fair Oaks mall last night. There were 7 of us total in our party 5 adults and 2 kids. The kids were charged the adult price. The service was great, and the food was great! However, our server attempted to up charge is at every angle, and didn't mention the additional costs. We ordered desserts with the meal. When going to a different Brazilian steakhouse in the area, desserts were included. The additional cost was NEVER mentioned to our group. Also, my daughter got a chocolate cake for dessert, and the server asked if she would like ice cream with that. $2 extra! Never mentioned that to us until we received the bill. My friend who went with us only ate the salad bar, and we had to get our bill fixed because she was charged a regular dinner. Overall, the servers were very attentive, but wished that they'd been upfront with us on the cost. For our family of 4, our dinner was over $350!!! We definitely did not eat enough food for that amount.

Great service and great food makes it definitely a go to place for any occasion.

Me and my friends attended Milk and Honey for brunch due to hearing great things about it. The restaurant exceeded expectations with its delicious food, kind staff, and great prices. Will definitely be back and we have already recommended it to both family and friends. (P.S. The smothered chicken and biscuits were incredible)

Table service was very slow but the staff was very friendly. It was not very busy but they still seemed to be understaffed. It was clean and overall an enjoyable time but everything from our first drink orders to the check took 20-30 minutes longer than they should have from the time we requested them.

We also tried two of the veal dishes, and they were melt-in-your-mouth delicious — rich, comforting, and expertly seasoned. All paired perfectly with a bottle of Prossecco and 2 bottles of Red Wine-Primitivo. What truly elevated the entire experience was the impeccable service. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. They made us feel welcome and cared for throughout the meal. Bellissimo is more than just a restaurant — it’s an experience. Whether you’re celebrating something special or just craving an exceptional Italian meal, this place is a must-visit.
