- PPennyVIPVancouver / British Columbia •33 reviews4.0Dined 1 day agoThe food and service here were all excellent! The only reason I gave 4/5 was because I felt the music was rather loud. This can be quite off-putting when trying to engage in conversation with fellow diners. The staff were good enough to lower the music when we asked but it seemed that different music played at various levels. I believe that music is great to have and adds to the ambience, but let's keep it at a level where we can still talk and hear each other. Otherwise, the focaccia was unreal, the steak sandwich, the calamari, the duck salad - everything was faultless. Oh, and that Shanghai cocktail with the lychees was one of the best!More infoBartigaPrice: Expensive• Australian• Double Bay•4.5

- KKatieSydney •4 reviews4.0Dined on Jul 7, 2025Food quality is always great at Dolar Shop, and the individual pots per person is a hygenic option. We ordered a moderate amount with nothing too expensive but still came up to more than $100pp which is quite pricey in this economy.More infoTHE DOLAR SHOPPrice: Very Expensive• Chinese• Haymarket•4.7
- BBruceVIPNew South Wales •4 reviews5.0Dined on Jun 25, 2025This dinner was part of the Civico 47 wine school . The evening showcased wines from the Piedmont, with dishes from the same region. Luca was a very knowledgeable and entertaining host and sommelier, with a good attention to detail. Luca provided maps and tasting notes. The evening was first class from the first sip to the last. A truly wonderful neighbourhood restaurant serving top quality food and wine. Paddington is so lucky to have it.More infoCivico 47Price: Expensive• Italian• Paddington•4.8
