Best Restaurants for Birthdays in Sherborn

What a lovely little spot for lunch or dinner. The small plate concept works brilliantly with the southwestern fare at Lockheart’s. I only wish I was hungrier so I could sample more amazing flavors. I particularly loved the brussel sprout tacos. Just crunchy and wonderful. I will be back.

The service was amazing, our waiter was competent caring thorough and very personable. He added to our positive experience in a big way! And did I mention the food was delicious and plentiful!! And I’m fussy. We would definitely return when we’re in the area.

We dined early, and although the place was fairly empty when we arrived, we were inexplicably seated in a nice booth but directly in back of a very disruptive party. Although we were given the option to move, we were surprised the restaurant seated us there in the first place as there were plenty of other booths available in that and other dining rooms. As far as dinner went, it was outstanding as always. My wife had the Light entree Salmon, which she said was fabulous. I had the Roast Duck L’Orange, which was delicious and perfectly cooked. We both enjoyed the House Salad with Tarragon Dressing, a unique flavor not found elsewhere. Even the simple breadbasket offers delicious French bread, herb, and corn bread, which are all excellent. We have been enjoying this restaurant for many years and highly recommend despite the seating issue as the food and service is always wonderful.

This was our first time dining at S&W. We had a great experience which was largely due to our phenomenal server, Laurie. Every single recommendation she made was amazing. Without Laurie, I think we would have picked the wrong food and wine and that would have impacted our dining experience. Laurie was knowledgeable and also listened to us and could point us in the right direction for our taste. The food was incredible. We will be back! Thank you to all and Laurie for an excellent birthday dinner!!

The food was delicious and the piezookies amazing. Our server Charles was friendly and attentive. My mom really enjoyed the prime rib.
