Best Restaurants for Birthdays in Dorchester

We started by ordering two jumbo lump crab cocktails. They were so tasty that we ordered a third! The clam chowder was probably the best I’ve ever had. The crab cake was also incredible! The lobster dumplings fell a little short for me. They were a little on the bland side. The bread basket was a nice addition - especially with the sweet raisin bread in it. I will say that the place was quite loud. It was a full house and we kept having to repeat things to each other because of the noise level. You can tell that they’ve tried to remedy that issue by putting up glass partitions, but it only helps a little. Overall, I’d say we had a lovely experience due to great service and tasty food. We would definitely come back.

I loved the plants everywhere. I had steak with mashed potatoes and yellow peppers which was cooked perfectly and super tasty. I definitely would return next time I’m in Boston.
