Located in a historic train freight depot, this location features a multi-season outdoor patio, private event space, and a special installation of guitars from Kalamazoo's own Heritage Guitars. Black Rock Bar & Grill, an award winning steakhouse specializing in certified angus beef steaks served on a sizzling stone. Due to our high volume and traffic, we cannot hold tables for parties like a reservation system. We have a system called Priority Seating. This system secures a table within our restaurant, however, it does not guarantee an exact seat by time. Priority is placed on your party, and if we are on a wait, your party is placed on top of the wait list as a priority. We will seat you as fast as possible, but cannot guarantee an exact time. If the restaurant is not busy, we will seat the party upon arrival.

    My significant other and I wanted to try a new restaurant prior to an event so I picked Brick and Brine. We parked in the Radisson parking garage and then it was a fairly long walk to get to the restaurant. Once we arrived, we were quickly seated at our table. Our server was great - attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, checked back frequently. The food was delicious. The restaurant is very modern. We didn't have a lot of time, but we will be back. Well done, Brick and Brine!

    Very limited menue - check online first. We could get only a high table and for some climbing up the high seat/ getting close to the table was a challenge. Not the kind of restaurant you expect on Open Table - and they don’t even check reservations and seating times as there is plenty of free tables
