Peninsula is a delight from start to finish, with the kind of elevated and imaginative dining experience that is hard to find at this price point in Nashville. We sat at the bar in this cozy space which was much smaller and intimate than we thought. While the atmosphere is relaxed and warm, the food is elegant and thoughtfully prepared, with surprises and innovation that will satisfy the most veteran foodies. The array of Gin and Tonics is also very well imagined -- we sampled three, with the brine version being my favorite. Our food choices included the beet, the endive salad (which was one of the most surprising and delicious dishes we have had in Nashville) the crispy rice with lobster, and a fantastic dessert. This is not a place you go to get stuffed with food -- this is a remarkable tasting adventure at a reasonable price considering the quality of the overall experience.. We've been wanting to try this place for awhile now, and boy, are we glad we finally made it here. Highly recommended!
