Best Restaurants for Anniversaries in Tappan

Classic restaurant and one of the best in our area. We like to spend our anniversary here and often squeeze in Valentine's or a special dinner. We entertained our out-of-town guests, who were quite impressed with the food and service!

The Saddle River Inn has been our favorite restaurant for 45 years, through multiple owners and multiple chefs it has consistently maintained its quality in all areas.

Another great dinner at the Capital Grille. Our server Adrian, assited by Benny, was attentive, but didnt 'hover. Our food was prepared perfectly, steak cooked as desired, sides and drinks to even accomodate a food sensitivity. We travel often and really appreciate how the Capital Grille is a reliable choice, always delivering the classics.

Service was excellent, very attentive and friendly. Lots of choices on the menu and food and drinks were really great. It’s about 90 mins away for us but worthy of return visits.

This restaurant is exceptional. The food, service, and atmosphere are amazing. The food is so fresh. This place gets it. The Calamari was like butter. The chicken scarp was perfection. My wife had the rigatoni which brought me back to Italia. Give this place a try. The owner Peppe walked each and every table to make sure everything was good. This place takes it to the next level. The service is top notch. We weren't even able to pour our own wine. They were right on top of everything. If I could give 10 stars I would. The decor is perfection, the home atmosphere with a perfect flair makes this place an old school restaurant. They even opened the door as we departed. From the time you walk in you will be treated like royalty.
