Hamrock's Restaurant is located within the Moore-McCandlish House (built 1842) in the heart of historic Fairfax City. We've been proud to serve delicious made-to-order American dishes using fresh ingredients since our establishment in 2016. We also have a wonderful hand-selected wine list to enhance your dining experience. Approximately eighty-percent of our menu is-- or can be-- gluten-free, as we use only canola and olive oil in all of our cooking. Some of our best-selling dishes are our southern fried chicken, grilled meatloaf, and crab cakes-- all which are gluten free!     The salad bar is back! I was a happy person. The food, ambience, etc. was really good. The boat parade made for even more ambience. While the server was very knowledgeable, friendly and professional, he was slow. To his defense, many tables got there around the same time and had big orders but he should have been given some assistance.

    Bastille is a great experience, whether it’s a special occasion or just a dinner out. The staff is welcoming and knowledgeable. The kitchen is ready to accommodate food restrictions. The food never disappoints. The three course prix fixe menus are a good value. I highly recommend Bastille.

    What a nice restaurant -- very comfortable and attractive. We had an excellent server, Antonio, who made sure we were well taken care of from start to finish. He poured our wine in such a fancy, impressive way! Best of all, he was friendly and very professional. We will definitely come back. The ciopinno was delicious!

    We ate our Thanksgiving dinner at 2941 and thoroughly enjoyed it. Food was delicious and service was excellent. The fixed price of $110 per person made for an expensive family dinner which may not be the case for the a la carte menu, so we will have to see on another occasion if the price fits the food. Nonetheless we all enjoyed a fine Thanksgiving meal and recommend 2941 to anyone looking for a memorable occasion with delicious food in a lovely venue.
