Best Restaurants for Anniversaries in North Haledon

We've eaten here multiple times. Have to think ahead to get a reservation. I don't do well on the day of. We got this on Friday for Saturday at 7. We arrived about 5 minutes early but were seated right away. It was pretty busy, with only a few open tables. Waiter stopped by quickly and asked if we needed glasses and drinks. We brought some beer so we got chilled glasses and water. Bread, butter and little garlic knots came quickly. We ordered a 10" pizza and the baked clams as apps. Both were great. Love the baked clams - great texture to the topping, not huge clams, but the smaller ones that you can get in one scoop of the fork. The main meals - chicken balsamico, ricotta stuffed penne and baked ziti - came out appropriately timed. All our meals were good, as always. Some leftovers for today :) Great local restaurant that's become one of our favorites.

Sat at a table in the bar area and I highly recommend it. We typically sit in the main dining room and for our party of 3 it was perfect. Steak au poivre was cooked to a perfect medium and the sauce had great flavor and nice peppercorns to give it that zing. Served Nasir made the night w caring service
