- JJanPhiladelphia County •2 reviews5.0Dined on Jun 30, 2025First rate. I specifically chose them as apparently the only steakhouse on the Island grilling on real coal fires. Three of us shared a medium rare 34 Oz Porterhouse and two 2 lb. Maritime lobsters. Pommes Aligo and creamed baby spinach were delightful sides. Cold and grilled shrimp and delicately fried calamari served as appetizers. As my intention was to support Canada and Montreal we chose both white and red Quebec wines (ground $100 each) with the assistance of the knowledgeable sommelier. Desserts were Crème brûlée and crêpes Suzette, both perfect. After dinner drinks and smokes in the sophisticated cigar bar completed the experience. Service was perfect. Unobtrusive and respectful of our privacy, but ever-present to refresh our glasses and attend to our every need. It was a flawless steakhouse experience from start to finish. Around $1200 CDN, but worth every Loonie for a memory that will last a lifetime.More infoRib N Reef SteakhousePrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Côte-des-Neiges/NDG•4.7
