Best Restaurants for a Quick Bite in Quarry Lake

Fantastic birthday dinner and drinks from start to finish, and service was impeccable. Special shoutout to manager Bryan who was terrific and took great care of us.

We took my husband here to celebrate Father’s Day. The ambience was beautiful. The server was attentive and courteous, and the appetizer came out quickly. We ordered the chili crab oysters and they were delicious! The drinks (Blueberry Lemon Crush/Old Fashioned) were great, too. Dinner took a hit. The table ordered the Cioppino, the Spicy Chicken sandwich, the ceviche, and the 1/2 Nashville fried chicken. The cioppino was lovely, but the fish and shrimp were overcooked. The lemon sauce on the ceviche was unbearable and the accompanying plantain chips were unseasoned. The absolute best thing on the menu was the Nashville fried chicken. It was tender, juicy and full of flavor. I will visit again just to order this dish!

Twist was a nice space to meet and have a good Sunday, Father's Day meal. The menu was comprehensive, the service well-managed, and the food was of high quality. Probably not the best spot for those with young kids, as the space is very tight and the noise level very energetic. That said, the kids menu was better than most. For a city with not a great restaurant scene, I would love to see it grow, I would recommend Twist to anyone visiting Baltimore and will definitely go back. Don't go to Inner Harbor, Fells Point is much better!

Great food, the fish is always fresh and prepared perfectly! As some restaurants that we will no longer go to are only serving the main entree with no sides included. The Gourmet goes above by serving fresh vegetables and choice of potatoes or rice with your entree.

Atwater's always has good, fresh food, well-prepared. Their special events and brunch services are always well put together, with competent and friendly service staff. Almost everything is scratch-made (either on location or from their production kitchen a few miles away) and predominantly local, so prices can reflect that.
