Best Restaurants for a Quick Bite in Old City

Great ambience and staff. Food choice good and well cooked

The ambience was lovely, a restaurant location overlooking the Delaware river will always get brownie points from me. Our server was attentive and served our food and beverages in a timely manner. The food was fine. We got fried calamari as an appetizer and it was delicious. For our main entree we got cheesesteaks with fries and the cheesesteaks were a little less desirable. Nothing offensively bad but the meat was too wet in my opinion and that soaked the bread to where it was falling apart as soon as we received our meals. Other than that it was fine nothing to write home about.

Started off a bit underwhelming due to some miscommunication and unorganization. However, they were able to turn it around and my team had a great time. It is a small restaurant and not really equipped to handle large parties(we had 20 ppl) so it started off slow but turned into a nice time. The food was great. Calvin, Kay and Jordan were great and took good care of us. I am not sure if another gentleman was the manager but he was the least engaging and for a party spending thousands of dollars at your establishment, I would have expected him to come out and greet us. Overall we had a great time.

Eggs Benny with pork roll was divine! Substituted fruit bowl for potatoes. The sweetest and freshest strawberries, cantaloupe and watermelon. Bloody Mary is spot on with horseradish.
