The ricotta appetizer was quite good, but the toast points were burnt. The shrimp risotto was quite tasty except for the purée, and the burger and fries were very good. The price was a little high, in my opinion. They have too much going on in a lot of the dishes.

An experience fit for a King. Service was spotless, cuisine was perfect as ordered . Unfortunately, my favorite Manager was no where to be found.

Chicago Prime Italian remain a gem out in Schaumburg. You get classic Italian steakhouse but very low key. We had the fried and grilled calamari as starters. Both great. Fried close to tempura like batter. If you never tried grilled squid or octopus I recommend going for it here. Dinner was spinach ravioli and the Berkshire pork chop. Beautiful presentation, although I forgot to snap pictures. The chop had glorious potatoes and the dish itself had nice heat. Banana peppers and greens in nice acidic sauce.

My wife and I went for the first time for dinner. It was a Monday evening, so it’s probably unfair to judge the vibe. The food was very good and the waitress was attentive and helpful. My only complaint is that, in my opinion, prices should be 20% less - the $10 beer should be $8, the $19 appetizer should be $15, the $35 entree should be $28 and the $22 burger should be $18. This is a restaurant in a hotel and maybe business travelers will pay these higher prices for the convenience of dining in their hotel, but will others when there are many other options within a few miles?

Great little neighborhood gem! Outdoor weather permitting dining with fresh umbrellas and overhead cafe lighting. The waitstaff is attentive and the food is fantastic. Try the Spinach Salad!
