- LLenoreVIPLos Angeles •11 reviews4.0Dined 6 days agoWe got off to a very rough start! We texted the restaurant to inform them , due to CRAZY LA traffic, we were going to be approximately 20 minutes late for our reservation. The response was very off putting. We were told that the 10 minute grace period would be strictly enforced and we would be marked as a no show and put on a waiting list. We arrived in fact 16 minutes late for our 5 o clock reservation. The hostess remained firm in adhering to the policy and was unhelpful and negative. I prevailed upon her to see what she could do. Hesitating to be helpful was unacceptable and there’s a serious issue with training to make guests feel welcome. A second hostess did in fact say that she could make it work, acting as if a big gift was being given. Fortunately the food was so spectacular it made up for a truly inhospitable start. Another issue is the staffing for the bar. We ordered 3 cocktails. After quite a long wait only 2 showed up. Another ten minutes at least went by for us to be informed that there was an issue with one if the ingredients in the third cocktail. The server did agree to comp the drink. The hostess issue and bar service prevent me from giving an overall good review despite the fabulous food and beautiful setting and view.More infoSan LaurelPrice: Very Expensive• Spanish• Downtown•4.7

- TTracyLos Angeles •5 reviews5.0Dined on Feb 9, 2025Let me know if I am missing anything… Dining at the Living Room for lunch was a mixed experience. While the food was delicious, we were surprised to find it was more of a bar atmosphere than a dedicated restaurant. Parking proved difficult and the valet service was quite expensive. The menu, though limited, offered tasty options. My cousin thoroughly enjoyed their expertly made Brandy Alexander, a classic cocktail of cognac, crème de cacao, and cream. My W Club sandwich and my cousin’s beef sliders were both delectable, although I felt they were overpriced. To finish, we shared their only dessert option, a delicious chocolate lava cake. The service, from the bartender to our server, was excellent throughout our meal.More infoLiving Room at W HollywoodPrice: Expensive• Californian• Hollywood•4.2
