Best Pre-Theater Restaurants in Jamaica

This was my first time at Fig & Olive and it was great. I was there for a business dinner but it would be good for any occasion. I had a simple dinner of their butternut squash soup and some salmon with roast vegetables. I opted to get a dessert because they have a lemon olive oil cake with an olive oil semifreddo that is dairy free - a rare find, because most restaurants don't offer dairy free desserts, and if they do, it's usually sorbet, which is fine, and this restaurant had that on the menu also. The entire meal was absolutely delicious and I will keep this restaurant as a go-to when I am in midtown every March.

It was a fabulous lunch, which started with a delicious rimmed bloody mary with just the right amount of heat, followed by immensely fresh naked oysters and tuna/salmon tartare. A great spot to hang and enjoy great innovative food preparations.

Always a great experience, the whole staff makes you feel like great friends. On top of the best steak and cheesecake in new york it's the whole service that makes me keep coming back.

The service was great, everyone was attentive and friendly. The food was really amazing. It was a worthy experience.
