Best Pre-Theater Restaurants in Hollywood

Loved Our experience at Jemma Hollywood prior to our night seeing Wicked at the Pantages! It is the PERFECT location! Excellent food!! Friendly Staff!! Loved it!

Food and service were excellent. Beautiful ambience. A great place to dine before our show at the Pantages. The short rib pasta was the big hit with my friends, but my salad and shrimp were fantastic too.

Katsuya was fabulous! We had reservations for 5pm on the opening night of Wicked. We went through several rounds of ordering, including dessert and we made it to the theater with barely minutes to spare. But the server, Anthony and his team were amazing! The drinks, sake, and food were so fresh and super delicious! We loved the yellowtail sashimi and jalapeño appetizer, the popcorn rock shrimp, the tai sashimi and sushi, and the baked crab rolls. My husband also really enjoyed the whitefish carpaccio. Highly recommend the lychee martinis and the baked mochi balls (surprisingly light and delicious)! The food hit the table and it was demolished before we could snap pictures (lol). We ate, drank and spent a lot - but this was definitely an elevated experience for us. I can’t wait for the next special occasion so we can come again! What a night to remember!

Went to St. Feliz based on others reviews. We were in Hollywood for a show. First impression was that it's a bar with food - did enjoy the quirky movie and t.v. clips running on the t.v.s in the space. Very informal feel, but after we were seated the service was top notch! The Thai deviled eggs were 5 star - I could eat a whole plate of those! The waygu sliders - amazing! the chicken and waffle good - but the best part was the orange scented syrup - so, so good! Short rib dinner - also delicious. the only issue was the nachos - the menu shows the nachos with meat on it, but when they arrived there was no meat - just chips and cheese and jalapenos. Server corrected this by bringing some beef over to add to them - just though the menu was a tad misleading. Drinks were also good - not an extensive wine list however, but I guess it's more of a cocktail joint. Would definitely come back when in the area again!

The highlights were the cocktails, and I loved that they had an NA cocktail option for our group. The outdoor patio is right on Hollywood boulevard, but you feel like you are in a private oasis tucked away and surrounded by plants! Would definitely dine again and cannot wait to try their new THERE THERE concept, opening soon.
