We booked a table for a Wednesday lunchtime, The Plough was moderately busy, a sign of a successful business. 3 of us ordered the Steak and Ale Pie, and my wife the shredded aromatic duck salad, we found the food to be tasty and the size of the portions about right. Service was friendly and relatively quick, and the price of the meals about right-what you expect to pay in Surrey. Recommended.

We just love this place. Fantastic casual dining with superb Indian food. Great staff too. Try the laal mass .

We have dined at the talbot on many occasions and have always enjoyed it and this occasion was no exception. However the afternoon was marred by the fact that two of our party were told on departure that they may be subject to a fine as their stay had exceeded 3 hours. No one told them about this on arrival when they registered their number plate. Although the Talbot explained they are not responsible for the car park this could seriously deter a further visit if our friends are fined for effectively enjoying their time at the restaurant!
