Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in Roscoe Village

Great food,scenery and the service was excellent !

For the most part the food was very good though we found the green bean dish to be very salty. Our main issue was the size of the restaurant vs the size of the staff. For the prices charged here I would expect servers to have far fewer tables than they were assigned. The result was a general lack of any attention from the server once we had placed our order.

The Chicago Cut Steakhouse showcased the perfect setting and meal to celebrate a special occasion. Every staff member we met was most gracious with both the owner and maitre D. stopped by to say hello and ensure our every whim was satisfied. Our steaks and seafood were cooked to perfection. To begin we all loved their decadent Lobstercargot and collosal crabcake. Their french onion soup was so satisfying it could have been a meal itself. Expansive wine list encompassed exotic and affordable options. My family loved the NY strip and Ribeye both cooked as directed and flavorful. The scallops and vegetable risotto were served piping hot with a side of refreshing fruit salsa. Prices are comparable to other downtown steakhouses but the huge Portions, made the "Cut" are better value. The waitstaff most attentive but not at all obtrusive, we never felt rushed. Similarily tables next to us were also celebrating birthdays and anniversaries . The first class service and delicious food make the Chicago Cut an ideal destination to enjoy the riverfront. No question we will be back.

It’s one of our go to places for breakfast or brunch- we go to 3 locations. The service was lacking this time but usually it’s good. Delicious pancakes and omelets.
