A very good lunch. One had a very varied and tasty risotto. I had an excellent, well balanced shepherd’s pie with firm carrots snd a minted pea puree. Great treacle tart to follow. One of us had the special dessert— a complicated ice cream with little chunks of diced fruit and coconut. Served in a tall glass. All very well but impenetrably deep frozen. Spoon would have given way first. Waiter returned and wasn’t surprised to find it needed a blast in the microwave. Said most diners asked for the same follow up, raining obvious questions about concept or storage or both! Otherwise a good afternoon…

What a wonderful restaurant! From start to end we had an amazing time. The selection of drinks to complement the menu is fantastic. The menu itself - well, we will have to keep going back as there were too many delicious options to choose from. Our waiter was perfectly attentive throughout the evening and the service was just the perfect speed, not rushed but you aren’t left waiting around either. The portions were generous and every dish we ate was perfect. Will be highly recommending this restaurant to our friends and family. What a wonderful little gem.

Really great lunch today. Heritage tomatoe starter was particularly delicious. Highly recommended.

Such a delightful place, great atmosphere, plenty of space, really good service and delicious, imaginative food.

Food was very good and some nice twists meaning that it’s never boring or ordinary. Service was exemplary, friendly and polite. The 5 Little Pigs philosophy is very envied t and welcome. I gave 4 stars rather than 5 because my Rarebit starter was not quite hot enough and as a result it went quite cold quickly - small point but I’m just being honest.
