Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in Paddington

The Mad Hatter Afternoon Tea is a unique and lovely experience. All the details (Food, china, tea blends, and waiters’ aprons) transport you to the Mad Hatter Tea Party in Wonderland. The food and teas are delicious and the staff, particularly Mohammed & Yosland were really nice and helpful. We really enjoyed this afternoon tea experience! Highly recommended!

Minus the host at the front our experience was amazing.  Before we sat down, we were told we were given an hour and a half and then we’d have to be complete our meal (totally understandable).  The host, then kind of made an issue and let another person in without his full party, and the staff had to pretty much almost escort the guy out because he was making a scene if the host never sat this guy (Without his full party) there wouldn’t have been a problem because there were folks that had reserve seats and they are probably waiting for their table for over 30 minutes Thank God for the actual sweet staff themselves. The handle the issue really good and the host himself was a jerk. Honestly they should get rid of him. Our weight staff was absolutely perfect and thanked us profusely. However this doesn’t negate how great the food is.  The line was literally down the street as we waited for our table. We walked up to the front as we were 30 minutes early again the host was pretty rude, but with that being said once we got inside, it was really good so we ordered the fish and chips which we ordered the cod we had the scotch egg the fried mushroom the fried prawns, the house made pickles.  The fish was perfectly crispy and nice and soft and moist in the inside. It had salt on there, but we added just a tiny bit more which was fine came with a lemon wedge. The chips were nice and fluffy and thick so you really just need one for two people.  The fried mushrooms, came with a mushroom sauce and I just kept dipping in there over and over again and was pretty delicious. I will come back over and over again!

Had a fantastic experience at Cecconi’s! The food was delicious, the service was attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere was sophisticated yet relaxed. A great spot for a memorable meal – highly recommend!

We absolutely loved our food!! Authentic Italian dishes presented beautifully… our Sicilian waiter Francesco was lovely and very attentive,.. overall a very nice afternoon indeed … will definitely be back again soon 😊
