I go to The Turf quite a lot as I can walk from home. Food is excellent and staff are great. The 4th May was a bank holiday and the weather was sunny so it was heaving with people and the food wait was longer than normal but worth waiting. We booked a table and so glad we did otherwise you wouldn’t have got a seat inside.

Food is delicious, really friendly service and a family friendly atmosphere

We had reserved an inside table and had a good meal and made friends with the people we shared the table with.

Lovely location and the serving staff were very friendly. The mushrooms on toast were good and the local sausages were very good.

Didn’t have food so unable to rate but no option but to select one star! Quiet as a weekday early evening but bar staff said weekends you require a reservation. Good views of cathedral & beyond. Not table service!
