I ordered the Hot honey chicken pizza( which I’ve had before and was delicious) on this occasion there was vey little chicken and the pizza was very dry.. My friend ordered Chicken Wellington.. at £21 I thought it looked a very small portion and veg looked over cooked . And no potatoes included at that price!!, A large glass of Rose Zinvandel was £10 .. very expensive ! The portions seem smaller and the wine more expensive. Very disappointing evening as I have always enjoyed Albert’s Didsbury and eaten there regularly for years. 2 favourites are no longer on the main menu .??? . Steak Fritzes and Fish @ Chips. Need to be added as I think the menu is very poor and has Earle changed over the years

Had the roast beef dinner off the Sunday menu, it was delicious & the best roast potatoes I’ve had in a long time. Really enjoyed the food & the decor inside & out is nice. We would recommend & return

Superb as always, our favourite restaurant in Knutsford

We had a superb dining experience at the Knutsford restaurant. The food and service could not be faulted.

We spent a most enjoyable Sunday afternoon on the terrace. A DJ played fantastic chilled vibes, the sun was out and the atmosphere was wonderful. We had the crumpet with Morecambe bay prawns and crispy leaks to start which was gorgeous. We then opted for the Sunday lunch sharing board which included a substantial selection of pork, beef and chicken with lovely veg and the biggest Yorkshire puddings we've ever seen ! The cabbage was beautiful and served in its own bowl so was lovely and hot too. The beef was too rare for us but next time I will request it is well done which is an option we didn't take. I would suggest sticking to your own plate if you go for the roast option as the serving board did affect the serving temperature. We felt it was really good value for money and will certainly return.
