A lovely table in the back room with clever artwork adorning the walls. Service first class. A South American malbec was a really excellent accompaniment to the meal. Cheese plate was very generous, with a tangy truffle cheese well worth a try. Overall a tad expensive to consider it for a weekly visit !

This was my second time eating at the George, and it did not disappoint. We attended today for a friend's birthday. Our meals were exceptional. Staff were attentive but not to the point of annoying. They made my friend's birthday special by singing to her and adding a sparkler to her dessert. I recommend the Sunday roasts :)
