⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Hidden Gem in Mornington – Wildgrain is a Must-Try! We had an incredible dining experience at Wildgrain Mornington last night. This European-inspired restaurant impressed us from start to finish. We sampled a wide range of dishes — scallops, oysters, mussels, croquettes, saganaki, short ribs, and the standout of the night: the duck special with truffle. The duck was nothing short of a masterpiece — perfectly cooked, beautifully tender, and elevated to another level with the rich aroma and flavor of truffle. Truly unforgettable. The croquettes were another highlight — soft, creamy, and beautifully balanced with a cheddar custard and just the right tang from the ketchup. Every dish was well-executed and bursting with flavor. 🙏🏻 thanks to the Chefs for our night. The service was top-notch — warm, attentive, and welcoming throughout. The cocktail list was impressive, and we tried four different creations, all unique and well-balanced. We also brought our own wine, which was handled seamlessly by the staff. The ambiance was lively yet intimate, perfect for any occasion. We even saw a couple celebrating their engagement — a clear sign that this place is suited for everything from casual get-togethers to special celebrations or group dinners. Highly recommend Wildgrain — it’s a true gem in Mornington, and we’ll definitely be back.

Our lunch experience at Waves was very good. We had four diners, celebrating two birthdays. Even though it was a cold, miserable day we were lucky enough to be seated by a window overlooking the beach, which was lovely. The restaurant was full, but we could still hear reasonably well. The food was good, but not outstanding, as one piece of barramundi was a little overcooked, and the seafood pie didn't live up to expectations. But it was still perfectly acceptable. The waitress was lovely and attentive. On the whole, we all had a lovely time, and would book Waves for our annual birthday celebration catch up again.

Nevedya is always a wonderful place to visit, going with friends or alone. I've recently been twice in two weeks and had their fabulous Khichadi which is so heart and soul warming. The staff are amazing too, so warm and friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is lovely too, I always sit out the back in the garden where there are heaters, comfortable sitting and a gorgeous garden. Well done Nevedya, you rock!

We had a wonderful lunch at this restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The atmosphere is incredibly relaxing, with stunning views overlooking the vineyard. Our group of four chose the two-course lunch, and every dish was beautifully prepared and full of flavor. It’s definitely a place I look forward to visiting again.
