Best Organic Food Restaurants in Uptown

The Mansion on Turtle Creek is quietly elegant. The service is outstanding, with impeccable timing. Our waiter was always there when we needed him, never there otherwise. We enjoyed the active but quiet dining room. The wine list is amazing. The gin & tonic was just as it should be. The only thing is that the steak au poivre was not steak au poivre. It was a perfectly cooked and delicious tenderloin with a rich sauce made of foie gras. The sauce was similar to an excellent gravy. There was not pepper or peppercorns in the sauce. A steak au poivre is such a distinct dish that depends on the peppercorns. After we mentioned this to the waiter, several people came to the table to discuss. It was not clear whether the kitchen had made a mistake, or whether the dish is described and named incorrectly. In case, the confusion did not detract one single bit from a wonderful meal and time. We will definitely return.

The jazz was great! I love the selections and engagement. The food was good! Eggs Benedict was amazing! There was also a Whiskey tasting in order of Father’s Day! The restaurant is a place to great to eat, listen to jazz, good service! I love the atmosphere!
